Fleetwood globe radio vintage space age Medium Wave Receiver.

A Fleetwood brand transistor radio in the form of a globe. The globe sits on a black phenol formaldehyde base, has a downward facing speaker which forms the lower quarter of the globe, and has an aluminum band around the equator bearing the words Transistor Six Fleetwood. The speaker is protected by a cream colored grille of urea formaldehyde. The gold and silver colored globe has an outer layer of colorless, transparent acrylic with the on off dial set at the north pole. The tuner is on a sliding aluminum band which runs between the north and south pole.

Is in good working condition only the battery cover is missing, but batteries hold very see last picture.
