Large version of the famous Celling lamp designed by the Danish architect Arne Jacobsen ( 1902-1971 ) in 1957. It was originally designed to decorate exclusively the interior of the SAS Royal Hotel in Copenhagen, but considered since then a classic of danish modernism, and produced by Louis Poulsen from 1960;s.
The shade is a half sphere with 4 bulbs and a diffuser, which gives a very powerful light downwards and a gently relaxing light to the ceiling through the ring-shaped openings, in good condition, some marks due to wear and age see also last two pictures for a little missing paint (most on top so not visible when hanging).

Uses 4 E27 bulbs and comes with a plastic black canopy.
