A 1970s Scandinavian pendant composed of four quarter‑cylinder metal plates — two in matte black and two in chrome‑plated metal. The plates are spaced apart using chrome distance rods, creating vertical openings that allow light to escape and giving the lamp its distinctive architectural glow.
Often attributed on various websites to jo Hammerborg at Fog & Mørup due to its chrome‑and‑black palette and warm orange inner lacquer, but the lamp is unmarked
The black plates feature a warm orange inner lacquer, while the chrome plates have a darker metallic interior tone. The contrast between reflective chrome, matte black, and warm inner surfaces is characteristic of Northern European lighting design from this period.
