Large version of the famous Celling lamp designed by the Danish architect Arne Jacobsen (1902-1971) in 1957.
It was originally designed to decorate exclusively the interior of the SAS Royal Hotel in Copenhagen, but considered since then a classic of Danish modernism, and produced by Louis Poulsen from 1960s.

The shade is a half sphere with 4 porcelain bulbs and a diffuser, which gives a very powerful light downwards and a gently relaxing light to the ceiling through the ring-shaped openings, in very good condition, some little wear due to wear and age.
Dimensions 50 cm /19.7-inch diameter, height 23 cm /9.1 inch
Uses 4 E27 bulbs and comes with a plastic black ceiling cab and has cm ( inch) long electrical cord.
The lamp will be sent without the light bulb. While we have checked the cable and tested the lamp to see that it works, as with all vintage electrical equipment, we suggest you have it checked by a qualified electrician in your country before installing it in your home.
